I.D. Arches:

  I.D. arches are for windows with a more severe radius.  When the panel configuration is one panel, the arch frame is made to fit the arch and the louvers must be fit and shaped on both sides.  In configurations of two panels or more, the louvers only have to be shaped to fit the radius on one end.  I.D. arches are made so that the panels can be full length from the window sill to the top of the arch.  There is no need for a separate panel such as a Sunburst or Shutter Fan.
  I.D. arches are the most popular application for arched windows, but with all the hand work involved...are the most expensive.
